Hi Cathy here, owner of Stony Lake Toffee!

I’m going to tell you the story of how Stony Lake Toffee came to be. So let’s start at the beginning. Over 30 years ago, I began making toffee to gift to close family and friends during the holiday season. It started small. Over the years, the list grew and suddenly, I was making well over 50 bags of toffee every season…

Making the toffee every December became a family affair. My husband and kids would spend the days before Christmas chopping almonds and helping package the bags. We’d all jump in the car to deliver the toffee to friends and family on Christmas Eve. It was - and still is - our tradition.

Stony Lake Toffee is a labor of love, a treat to be shared with close family and friends, much like the place it’s named after. Our family has spent the last 35 summers near a quiet, beautiful, little spot minutes from Lake Michigan, called Stony Lake. It’s our favorite place, and I couldn’t imagine naming my toffee after anything else. I hope you enjoy Stony Lake Toffee.
